B450 is insanely pcie lane limited and even only 2.0 downstream. B450, x470, and x570 motherboards are compatible with the new ryzen 3000 chips. I would have loved the option for a b550 which is the same as the b450 just with 3.0 lanes downstream and maybe two or four more of them.
X570 motherboards bring some considerable improvements over the x470 and b450 mobos
